crossed, a tribute (2016)THE CHALLENGE
"Crossed" is a comic book that depicts extreme graphic violence in an uncensored way. As a challenge, I developed style frames for an opening sequence for an Hypothetical "Crossed TV series". How could such graphical violence be adapted to display on TV? The opening sequence starts with an hallucinatory flash-back depicting past actions done by the contaminated crossed. It ends with the pile of bones of the people that he/she supposedly killed The blood and the red color from the blood are a common element throughout the sequence The names credits are from artists I think could be successful in creating this TV series. MORE ABOUT "CROSSED"? "Crossed" is a comic book written by Garth Ennis and drawn by Jucen Burrows. "The story follows survivors dealing with a pandemic that causes its victims to carry out their most evil thoughts. Carriers of the virus are known as the "Crossed" due to a cross-like rash that appears on their faces" As stated by Garth Ennis: "The Crossed are people who - through infection - have given in to the absolute worst instincts that human beings can: murder, rape, torture, cannibalism, all of the most cruel and inventive kind imaginable. They are out of control, really. Their number one urge is to get their hands into normal people and commit every ghastly act they can think of - they can't fight it, and they don't want to."
